Bioaerosols Exposure in Hospital Context

Abstract

Bioaerosols are important sources of infection in hospital settings. In this paper it was performed a short bibliographic review about the importance of this kind of contamination source for health care personnel. A search was carried out in several scientific data bases. Thirty nine papers were selected with peers review with special interest for this problem. It was not found an extensive knowledge on the subject which leaves open an enormous research potential and may explain the lack of proper regulation and the difficulty of implementing effective mitigating measures.
