| Abstract: | The present work consists in the execution of a project for the rehabilitation and recovery of a rural habitation building of mid-twentieth century. We seek to construct a response in the form of a final project, ready to build, starting from the analysis and interpretation of the constraints of the pre-existence and anchored in the definition of a methodology of intervention. The practical component emerges simultaneously with the investigation and theoretical analysis, without there being a temporal division between them. Thus, we reflect on the hypotheses that best respond the need to relate the existent with the programatic and comfort needs a residential building demands in the present. It is key and central point of this work to adapt the building to the new needs, the same time that these are conditioned by the pre-existence. |
| Description: | O presente trabalho consiste na realização de um projecto de reabilitação e recuperação de um edifício de habitação de carácter rural de meados do século XX. Procuramos construir uma resposta sob a forma de projecto final, pronto a executar, partindo de uma análise e interpretação das condicionantes da pré-existência e alicerçados na definição de uma metodologia de intervenção. A vertente prática surge em simultâneo com a investigação e análise teórica, sem que exista uma divisão temporal entre eles. Desta forma, procuramos reflectir sobre as hipóteses que melhor respondem à necessidade de relacionar o existente com as exigências programáticas e de conforto a que um edifício de habitação está obrigado actualmente. É ponto essencial e central deste trabalho adaptar o edifício às novas necessidades, ao mesmo tempo que estas são condicionadas pela pré-existência. |
