| Abstract: | The paper draws a revision of current knowledge and theories about the epigraphy of the Ist Iron age of SW Iberia, with a special focus on the problems related to the development of a script and our understading of the epigraphy it produces.Proposals are made concernig the identification of the signs of that script and the integration of the related language in the Ist millenium AC. |
| Description: | É feita uma revisão dos conhecimentos e das teorias mais actualizadas sobre a epigrafia da Iª Idade do Ferro do Sudoeste da península Ibérica, dando especial atenção aos problemas relacionados com o aparecimento e difusão de uma escrita e dos nossos conhecimentos sobre a epigrafia que dela deriva.São feitas propostas quanto à delimitação do signário, a sua decifração e quanto ao enquadramento da língua falada por essa populações do Iº Milénio AC. |
