| Abstract: | The goal of this research project was to contribute to the knowledge of the functioning of the retail drug market in urban spaces. Through this research sought to understand how the retail drug market-oriented recreation is spatially implements, namely, the spaces used by citizens in their routine activities are necessary for its formation, if the surrounding businesses, the type of drug, need for security and customer influence the choice of location for the installation market. We also want to understand the nature and dynamics of the relationship between dealer / supplier, dealer / police and dealer / consumer realize the impact of trafficking in the life of the trafficker, as well as the impact of national legislation in the drug use and trafficking of dealers. The methodological path to achieve these goals by holding spent six semi-structured interviews to retail sellers of drugs that operate in an environment of recreational nightlife. |
| Description: | O objetivo central deste projeto de investigação foi contribuir para o conhecimento do funcionamento do mercado de drogas retalhistas em espaço urbano. Procuramos perceber de que forma o mercado de drogas retalhista de cariz recreatvo se implementa espacialmente, nomedamente, se os espaços utilizados pelos cidadãos nas suas atividades de rotina são necessários à sua formação, se os negócios envolventes, o tipo de droga, a necessidade de segurança e de clientes influenciam a escolha do local para a instalação do mercado. Pretendemos ainda perceber a natureza e as dinâmicas das relações estabelecidas entre vendedor/fornecedor, vendedor/consumidor, perceber o impacto do trafico na vida do vendedor de drogas, bem como, o impacto da lelislação nacional do consumo e do tráfico sobre vendedores. O caminho metodológico traçado para atingir estes objetivos passou pela realização de seis entrevistas semiestruturadas a vendedores retalhistas de drogas, que operam num ambiente recreativo de diversão noturna. |
