Abstract

The old residential buildings with a "current architecture" are recognized as cultural heritage, but they are not an work of art, or a monuments, and not just an urban setting. They have characteristics that restrict their appreciation and influencing the actions of intervention. Here, we wish to characterize this type of building, arguing for the need to consider their specificities in context of the rehabilitation, including the normative guiding their protection.
