Issue Date: 2014-01-29
Abstract: Taking into account the last advances in the research conducted on the romances that constitute the Iberian Arthurian matter, or on the non-peninsular texts related to it, we intend to examine the methodological principles that have supported its study, namely the concepts and denominations more generally used. As a consequence of this evaluation, special attention will be given to the proposals presented by the research group linked to the project “Arthurian Inventory of the Medieval Iberian West”, namely the procedures that led to recover the concept of the Pseudo-Boron Cycle as a means of explaining the integration of a substantial part of the Arthurian romances that circulated in the Peninsula.
