Reflexões sobre a educação e o transcurso do estágio pedagógico

Abstract

This report summarises the journey of the teaching internship at Escola Secundária Francisco de Holanda, according to the perspective on the school context, education and artistic education that gradually emerged. To this end, we have compiled a set of notes on school education, which relate to their current state of crisis and the consequent need to seek a deeper meaning for them. In this sense, this written work represents and explores a direction: to participate in school education while seeking another way of education that incorporates and refers to the dimension of being/consciousness, to the art of living and to the need for a holistic approach. The practical determination of this path resulted in seeking to reconfigure our attitude as a trainee as being himself in practice and in an educational quest, as well as in creating a teaching module in Desenho A, which aimed to invoke education linked to the art of living and the role of the symbol and the subjective; two key elements for suggesting an alternative and complementary mode of learning (introspective) as opposed to the usual learning centred on technical execution (extrospective).
