dc.description	Que nos dizem Os Lusíadas sobre a salvação do mundo? Pode o grande monumento da língua portuguesa ser considerado um poema salvador, tendo em conta a brutalidade do mundo que retrata? Afinal, que mundo é esse que o poeta regista no seu poema épico? E porque "merece" ele ser salvo? O presente texto procura recolher, na epopeia camoniana, alguns dos "materiais" que comprovam a relevância que nela assume o tema da salvação do mundo.
dc.description.abstract	What does Os Lusíadas reveal about the salvation of the world? Can the great monument of the Portuguese language be understood as a poem of salvation, given the brutality of the world it portrays? What, then, is the nature of the world recorded by the poet, and why does it "deserve" to be saved? This article seeks to identify, within Camões's epic, some of the elements that attest to the centrality of the theme of the salvation of the world in the poem.
