| Abstract: | This article examines the intertextual relationship between Fernando Pessoa and Adília Lopes, highlighting the tension between homage, critique, and ironic rewriting. Lopes often cites and reformulates Pessoa, at times echoing his insights, at others subverting them to dismantle philosophical distance and affirm immediate experience. Her poetry simultaneously praises and simplifies Pessoa, turning complexity into lightness and humor. Through these gestures, Lopes emerges not as a disciple nor an iconoclast, but as an "ironist" (Rorty), reinventing inherited vocabularies to articulate her own poetic subjectivity |

Adília cita e reformula Pessoa, ora confirmando algumas das suas intuições, ora contrariando-as, ao negar distâncias filosóficas e propor experiências imediatas. A sua poesia simultaneamente louva e simplifica Pessoa, transformando a complexidade em leveza e humor.
