Abstract

present professional school placement Report encompasses the entire process associated with the professional internship of a future Physical Education teacher, within the scope of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Education. After a brief introduction, which provides a normative and legal framework for the Supervised Teaching Practice, Section 1 outlines the sporting and academic journey of the Intern Teacher, as well as the reasons that led them to choose the educational path of sports. It also introduces the Cooperating School and the Resident Class, which are essential to the context of the report. The lesson plans and Didactic Units that were taught are represented in this first section, along with the teaching models and assessment types used with the Resident Class. This section includes, in a transversal manner, a set of reflections on the challenges and problems faced by the Intern Teacher, highlighting the need for quick response and adaptation to unforeseen events. Finally, the experiences of the Intern Teacher with Vocational Education are depicted, noting greater difficulty in maintaining order and focus, and with Primary Education, where different approaches by the teacher in conducting the class were found to be necessary. In Section 2, the most significant contributions of the Intern Teacher to the School and the Community are presented, with a greater focus on School Sports in Futsal. The final section presents a study on the performance and involvement of students in the Volleyball Didactic Unit. This study concluded that the use of Sport Education and Game Progressive Learning models yields significant results in student performance over time. The conclusions highlight some of the major learnings of the Intern Teacher following the Supervised Teaching Practice.
