As vivências do estágio profissional: um ano numa escola especial

Abstract

The experiences of the professional school placement: a special year in a special school is a document which aims to report all the experience inherent to the supervised teaching practice, carried out by a student-trainee of the subject of Physical Education, being the first experience in the world of teaching. It begins with the importance of knowledge obtained during training, because not only is enough to teach, but there is also the need to know why and how, because only then will I have a solid teaching. Next, and considering the expectations around the professional school placement, I presented some preconceived ideas about what the professional school placement would be, considering initially the general context of the same, but also the specific context with which I was going to be faced, presenting some future expectations. In the chapter of the professional framework, I presented some ideas about the role of the physical education teacher in school, some problems encountered during teaching, the framework of the professional school placement and made known all the actors of it (Cooperating School, Guiding Teacher, Cooperating Teacher, School Placement Cluster, Resident Class and Shared Class) and the importance of Inclusive School. In the implementation of the professional practice, I presented the planning developed throughout the professional school placement and the transition from theory to practice, listing some modalities that I found most relevant, and the teaching models used for their teaching. I also included in this chapter the study carried out following the school placement report. I ended with some ideas on the evaluation, observation and reflection of pedagogical practice. In the chapter of participation in the school and relationship with the community, I addressed the events organized by the school placement cluster, the school sports project, and the physical education group meetings and planning, class council meetings and interim meetings. To conclude, I reflect on how we can metamorphose ourselves in order to progressively build our professional identity, then proceed to final considerations and future perspectives.
