| Abstract: | Against the background of the plasticity of the subject of the Christ the Good Shepherd, this study seeks to draw attention to the ways in which, in the context of the Counter-Reformation, its actualization was observed, declined in the revaluation of the holiness model «embodied» by the bishop, in line with the Tridentine guidelines, who favored the exaltation of the evangelical spirit, pastoral zeal and healing of souls, taking as reference the conciliar decrees. |
| Description: | Tendo como pano de fundo a problemática em torno da plasticidade do tema do Cristo Bom Pastor, este estudo procura chamar a atenção para os moldes em que, no contexto da Contra-Reforma, se assistiu à sua reactualização, declinada na revalorização do modelo de santidade «corporizado» pelo bispo, na linha das directrizes tridentinas, que favoreceram a exaltação do espírito evangélico, do zelo pastoral e da cura de almas, assumindo como referência os decretos conciliares. |
