| Abstract: | The interpretation of how nostalgia and the cult of the vinyl records are presented as constitutive elements of the punk scene identity is the motto of this article, having as a starting point the importance of the dichotomy between analogue and digital in the São Paulo punk scene. Using a qualitative methodology, based on the potential of two punk life stories and the reports about the vinyl record of a band from São Paulo, we tried to access the experiences, the experiences and the re-significations of everyday life and cultural objects. This way, our focus was on the relationships between the identification with the punk scene and the vinyl record object as a central element of this identification process, having as a starting point the idea that, within each generation of punk life, there are different ways of cultural (re)appropriation |
| Description: | Interpretar de que maneira a nostalgia e o culto ao disco de vinil se apresentam como elementos constitutivos da identidade da cena punk assume-se como o mote deste artigo, tendo como ponto de partida a importância da dicotomia entre o analógico e o digital na cena punk paulistana. Recorrendo a uma metodologia qualitativa, assente no potencial de duas histórias de vida punks e dos relatos sobre o vinil de uma banda paulistana, intentamos aceder às vivências, experiências e ressignificações dos quotidianos e dos objetos culturais. Desta feita, o nosso foco incidiu nas relações entre a identificação com a cena punk e o objeto disco de vinil como um elemento central deste processo de identificação, tendo como ponto de partida a ideia de que, dentro de cada geração de vida punk, existem modos diferentes de (re)apropriação cultural. |
