| Abstract: | This dissertation intends to focus on domestic dwelling and the architectural space as an object of study that supports and conditions human behavior. The work will focus on deepening ways of living from the redesign of my parents' home, in the confrontation between personal memories and its site condition. It is from the desire to retrieve all the memories and to rethink the architecture of this house, that it is pretended to combine the reflection about home and dwelling. The project intends to deconstruct the existing, considering what can be maintained, destroyed or transformed, giving importance, not only, to the way of inhabiting of each person in each space, but also, to the history of the house over the years, the dialogue with the surrounding and the relationship between the inhabitant and the place. |
| Description: | A presente dissertação incide sobre o habitar da casa e o seu espaço arquitetónico como objeto de estudo que suporta e condiciona o comportamento humano. O trabalho terá como foco principal o aprofundar as formas do habitar a partir do redesenho da casa dos meus pais, no confronto entre memórias pessoais e a sua condição no lugar. É a partir do desejo de resgatar todas as memórias e de repensar a arquitetura desta casa, que se pretende conjugar a reflexão sobre a casa e o habitar. Pretende-se desconstruir o existente, considerando o que se poderá manter, destruir ou transformar neste projeto, dando importância, não só, ao modo de habitar de cada pessoa em cada espaço, mas também, à história da casa ao longo dos anos, o diálogo com a envolvente e a relação entre o habitante e o lugar. |
