Abstract

The second meeting of "Dialogue between science and users" had as main objective to promote the discussion between researchers and operators on forest fires and the search for a new paradigm. The research that follows is the result of interaction and dialogues that took place during the work sessions that brought together researchers and users around structuring issues related to the potentialities and weaknesses of the National Fire Protection Plan (PNDFCI) 2006/2012. Collaboration between the scientific community and the user community has been enriching and could contribute to a redirection of scientific research to problems that have been addressed and require in-depth scientific and collaborative study with users.
