Funções discursivas das construções com a partícula lá

Abstract

Following previous studies on the use of "lá" ("there") (Duarte 2009, Duarte & Marques 2015 and Marques & Duarte 2017), we propose in this article to analyse, from a synchronic perspective, (semi) crystallized constructions such as vamos lá ver or sei lá, in order to determine, on the one hand, the structures in which "lá" occurs and, on the other hand, the functions that such structures play in the discursive construction, the semantic-pragmatic values that they update in the discourse. The framework of analysis adopted is that of discourse analysis, which favours the enunciative approach (Moirand 2005). The corpus of authentic data is constituted by informal dialogues collected, primarily, in Perfil sociolinguístico da fala bracarense and in the C-ORAL-ROM.
