| Abstract: | The aim of this text is to talk about the different concepts of curriculum and their evolution. We aim to show how these concepts have been interpreted in Portuguese political speech and regularly changed. As a result of these evolving tendencies, the Curricular Guidelines for Geography have also changed, which hasn't always been beneficial to the teaching practices of the subject. We therefore question what actually changes in the teaching practice of this subject due to the fast-changing political discourse and the concept of curriculum that informs it. |
| Description: | Com este texto pretendemos dar conhecimento sobre o conceito de currículo, uma breve evolução do conceito e conceções de currículo. Pretendemos fazer emergir como essas conceções têm vindo a ser interpretadas em Portugal ao nível do(s) discurso(s) político(s) e como estes tem sido objeto de constantes mudanças. Acompanhando estes movimentos, as Orientações Curriculares de Geografia têm também vindo a sofrer alterações, o que nem sempre tem favorecido a educação geográfica. Questionamos então, o que muda na prática no ensino desta disciplina escolar, enquanto os discursos se alteram efetivamente num espaço tão curto de tempo e pelas conceções de currículo que elas encerram. |
