Title: Standard molar enthalpies of formation of 5- and 6-nitroindazole

Abstract: The present work reports the experimentaldetermination of the standard (p = 0.1 MPa) molarenthalpies of formation in the condensed and gaseousphases, at T = 298.15 K, of 5- and 6-nitroindazole. Theseresults were derived from the measurements of the standardmolar energies of combustion, using a static bomb calorimeterand from the standard molar enthalpies of sublimationderived by the application of Clausius-Clapeyronto the temperature dependence of the vapour pressuresmeasured by the Knudsen effusion technique. The resultsare interpreted in terms of the energetic contributions of thenitro groups in the different positions of the aromatic ring.
