| dc.description.abstract | This paper describes numerical research, using HAM-Tools program, on the moisture buffering effect ofbuilding materials. A set of numerical simulations on samples of current building materials, based on the MoistureBuffer Value (MBV) test method, were conducted under transient conditions of relative humidity (RH).The main result from these tests is the MBV number that can be used to characterize the moisture bufferperformance of a material or a system.Keywords: Moisture Buffer Value, Building materials, Numerical simulation, Dynamic loading | |
