| dc.description.abstract | This paper presents remote experiments, currently available in the Industrial Electronics course, at Faculty of Engineering of Porto University (FEUP, its pedagogical effectiveness assessment and obtained results. The remote experiments aim Students to extend current work at the lab and were implemented as part of the National Portuguese Project: POCI 2010 Labs on The Web. The paper shows the technology used, the three assignments of the Industrial Electronics course, namely phase control of a resistive load (AC/AC converter), PWM control of a DC motor (full bridge CC/CC converter) and a step up converter (one quadrant CC/CC converter), techniques for pedagogical effectiveness assessment and results. © 2009 IEEE. | |
