| Abstract: | Ochratoxina A (OTA) is a mycotoxin with carcinogenic, nephrotoxic, teratogenic and immunotoxic properties. It is produced by several fungi from Penicillium and Aspergillus species and occurs naturally in a variety of vegetal products such as cereals, barley, coffee beans, cocoa and dried fruits all over the world. | Description: | A ocratoxina A (OTA) é uma micotoxina com propriedades cancerígenas, nefrotóxicas, teratogénicas e imunotóxicas. É produzida por fungos da espécie Penicillium e Aspergillus e ocorre naturalmente em todo o mundo em diversos produtos vegetais, como a cevada, o café em grão, o cacau e os frutos secos.
