Title: Frequency response of cylindrical variable stiffness composite laminated shells

Abstract: Forced vibrations of cylindrical variable stiffness composite laminated (VSCL) shells are investigated in the geometricallynon-linear regime. The forces applied are harmonic and periodic oscillations are computed, defining frequency response curves. Numericaltests are carried out applying the harmonic balance in the complex domain and an arc-length continuation method. It is verified that thevariation of the fibre orientation can lead to significant differences in the response.
