Abstract

In this text, that has as an object the processes of crisis now developing in contemporary world’s social relations, we try to establish a set of interpretative coordinates of these processes from a sociological perspective centered on education. Thus, after identifying the social and symbolical properties of the relations between society and family, the text proposes an exam of the relation with school and reflects on the importance of having in its interior an active education for citizenship.
