| Title: | Dynamic monitoring of "infante d. henrique" bridge |

| Abstract: | A new multi-channel dynamic monitoring system was recently installed in a long span concrete arch bridge that crosses the Douro River in the city of Porto, Portugal. This paper describes the experimental and numerical studies developed before the equipment installation, characterizes the monitoring system used and presents some results achieved with the MatLab routines developed to process the data that is being received through Internet. This on-line processing includes the automatic identification of the natural frequencies of the first 12 modes of the bridge. |
