dc.description.abstractDuring the development of a new parser for thegrammar defined in the latest edition of IEC 61131-3, the authorscame across many inconsistencies between the main body of thestandard and the formal definition of the grammar. This paperexplains the inconsistencies that were uncovered, and suggestscorrections to the formal grammar.
