| Abstract: | The purpose of this thesis is to study the relationship between work and place in Portuguese sports facilities - football stadiums. The analyses of five Portuguese sports facilities, aims to understand and deepen the topological and morphological dialogue in the interpretation of the meaning of place as the main theme of the design. The sports facilities analysed are Estádio do Jamor, Lisbon (1944), Estádio 1.º de Maio, Braga (1950), Estádio do Restelo, Lisbon (1956), Estádio Municipal de Guimarães, Guimarães (1965) and Estádio Municipal de Braga, Braga (2003), by means of an analytical grid that structures the themes to be studied. |
| Description: | A presente tese pretende estudar a relação entre obra e lugar, nos equipamentos desportivos portugueses - estádios de futebol. Propõe-se através de uma análise do desenho de cinco equipamentos desportivos portugueses, procurar compreender e aprofundar o diálogo topomorfológico na interpretação do significado do lugar como tema principal de desenho. Analisar-se-á o Estádio Nacional do Jamor, Lisboa (1944), o Estádio 1º de Maio, Braga (1950), o Estádio do Restelo, Lisboa (1956), o Estádio Municipal de Guimarães, Guimarães (1965), e o Estádio Municipal de Braga, Braga (2003) a partir de uma grelha, de análise, que estruture os temas a estudar. |
