A configuração das trajectórias profissionais numa empresa do sector electromecânico

Abstract

In this article we present the main conclusions concerning one of the analytical domains of a case study developed in an electromechanical industry company: professional trajectories of a group of direct workers of the referred company. This domain integrates the larger issue concerning learning and identification processes in social work context, which constitutes the authors PhD theme in sociology. We define and empirically apply a professional trajectory concept, which includes: the firms’ internal and external professional trajectory, complementary professional activities and the professional projects and expectations
