| Abstract: | This dissertation intends to approach the revisitation of the author to his work, proposing key themes such as Time and Authorship as crucial points for analysis and study, in the course of its elaboration. It aims to understand, having as a base the episode involving Le Corbusier and the restoration of the Villa Savoye as well as the analysis of two authors - Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto de Moura - along with two of their specific pieces - Conjunto Habitacional da Bouça, in Porto and Mercado do Carandá/Mercado Cultural do Carandá e Braga - the place of the architect when confronted with a problem within a specific circumstance: the return to his work. This work presents a reflection upon the influence of Time as a conditioning agent in an architectural piece, as well as the importance of authorship in the definition of strategies for the intervention, in the planning of the new phase of the work. |
| Description: | A presente dissertação pretende abordar a problemática da revisitação do autor à sua obra, propondo para tal, a análise, reflexão e estudo de conceitos de temas-chave como Tempo e Autoria como pontos estruturais do discurso. Propõe-se compreender, tendo como base o episódio que envolve Le Corbusier e recuperação da Villa Savoye e através de uma análise do percurso de dois autores - Álvaro Siza Vieira e Eduardo Souto de Moura - e de duas obras específicas - Conjunto Habitacional da Bouça, Porto, e Mercado do Carandá/Mercado Cultural do Carandá, Braga - o posicionamento do arquiteto perante uma problemática enquadrada numa circunstância específica: o retorno à obra. Visa assim uma reflexão fundamentada sobre a influência e papel condicionador da noção do tempo numa obra arquitetónica, evidenciando a relevância da autoria na definição das estratégias de intervenção no equacionamento do novo momento/fase da obra. |
