| Abstract: | The present work intends, through the realization of a study over the Redeemer Church from Andrea Palladio, to identify on the architect's oevre, the results of a formation based on the studies of the past and classical buildings, as to identify the way how the social and cultural environment of his time reflects within his work. In this study, it is also intended to deepen the understanding of designing processes and methods from the architect, which are his base principles and justifications for his use of determined solutions. | Description: | O presente trabalho pretende, através da realização de um estudo da igreja Il Redentore de Andrea Palladio, identificar na obra do arquitecto os resultados de uma formação baseada no estudo e pesquisa de obras clássicas, assim como identificar o modo em como a contextualização social e cultural da época se reflecte na obra do arquitecto. Neste trabalho procura-se igualmente aprofundar o entendimento dos métodos e processos projectuais do arquitecto, quais os seus princípios de base e justificações para o uso de determinadas soluções.
