Abstract

Civil Protection Local Means are a very important issue for Municipality Civil Protection Emergency Plans. So, it is crucial to have a detailed Geodatabase of the Civil Protection Local Means in order to produce a better and quick response in case of natural or technological hazard. In this work, we discuss the importance and the utility of a dynamic Geodatabase of Civil Protection Local Means, presenting the cases of Santo Tirso e Trofa, in the Northwest of Portugal.
