| dc.description.abstract | Since Ancient Times, there have been references from salt's use and importance, whether in its everyday life dimension or in its religious one, connecting man with the sacred world. In both, salt can mean food and moral preservation and incorruptibility. It can also represent bitterness and sterility, clear signs of divine anger towards the corruption of Christian practices. Remember, people's evil could transform fertile land in salines. The connections between salt and life, salt and the Bible, salt and the Christian liturgy are the main focus of this paper. | pt_PT |
