Património da mitra bracarense e cultura do vinho, na antiga terra de Panóias : (século XV)

Abstract

This presentation envisages bringing to knowledge the relevance of growing vineyards in the properties of the Archbishop of Braga, in S. Martinho de Mateus and other places in the region of Vila Real, and the amounts of rights regarding various titles, paid in wine, according to ancient criteria, with very low payment indexes. This study is accompanied by two annexes: the first, consists of a document decisive for the end of the disagreement between the diocesan Prelate and Vila Real town hall due to the storage of wine; the second, integrated by a few receipt books regarding the rights of Braga’s Mitre, with extraordinary value with regard to the economic and local history.
