Relatório de Estágio profissionalizante realizado na equipa de Futebol de Juniores C (Sub-15) masculina do Sporting Clube de Braga, SAD, na época desportiva 2025/2026

Abstract

The Professional Internship Report of a sports season, embedded in the study cycle of the Master's Degree in Sports High Performance Training at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto (FADEUP), represents the consolidation of the academic path. The integration into a national championship category represented a unique opportunity within an elite sports context. This document describes the skills developed during the 2025/2026 season, in the Under-15 category of Sporting Clube de Braga (SCB). Seeking to leverage personal and professional evolution, individual goals were defined to target development in areas identified as critical for the coach's growth: Reinforcement of leadership, Optimization of communication, Deepening of game knowledge, and strengthening of interpersonal relationships. Following the Introduction, the report outlines a theoretical framework regarding the game and football training, youth football, and the role of the coach. This is followed by the institutional contextualization, describing the club and its departments. Subsequently, the functional context is presented, characterizing the squad, the coaching staff, the duties of the intern coach (TE), the weekly work dynamics, and the competitive frameworks. Furthermore, the development of practice is detailed through the implementation plan of the established goals and the presentation of the Training and Game Model, Tactical Structures, and the Evaluation and Control of Training and Match Performance, alongside relevant thematic reflections. Lastly, the Professional Development section reflects upon the execution of the defined goals, as well as the insights gained throughout the season. On a global balance, this internship constituted a milestone in my personal and professional development. The daily contact with a national elite structure reinforced my daily rigor and passion for training and the game.
