| Title: | Adesão ao atletismo na perspectiva dos responsáveis educacionais: estudo da prática do atletismo no Brasil, Espanha e Portugal |

| Abstract: | The present study arises due to low adherence to athletics in the training levels between 05 and 10 years of age. The main objective is to analyze what determines the choice of athletics, among the educational leaders of children, in Brazil, Spain and Portugal. It is also intended to compare working methods of the club of each country and, finally, indicate determinants that collaborate with sports business models of athletics. The study is exploratory, with the method of qualitative and quantitative research approach, in view of the observations of the classes and the structure of the clubs, part of a qualitative analysis; and, in the second quantitative stage, through the application of questionnaires applied to children's guardians. Two samples were used in the research, the first sample, chosen by convenience, composed of a club in each country, In Brazil, Spain and Portugal. The instrument used for the analysis of this sample was the field diary, through the procedure of observations of classes and structures of operation of the club, which was previously established contact with the coordinators of the teams, presented the research project and subsequently made the observations, finally, the treatment and analysis of data were divided into pre-analysis, exploration of the material and treatment of the results. The second sample was formed by the educational guardians of children between 05 and 10 years old, from the clubs where the observations were made. In this case, a questionnaire was answered with twenty objective questions, using a Likert 5-point scale, which evaluated the importance of each item, divided into eight dimensions (Group Environment and Climate, Personal Factors, Training and Supervision of the Activity, Family, Sports Educational Project, Time and Logistics, Sports Organization and Health). The results were stored on the google forms platform and cataloged in excel. In the treatment and analysis of data, the IBM-SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program was used, initially in the analyzed dimensions and then in each item, the comparisons of the countries through descriptive and comparative statistical analysis of the data were used. The educational leaders pointed out that the most important dimension is the acceptance, and the credibility that the family has in athletics, and what matters less, is whether the child has the potential to be an athlete or if he will pursue a career in the sport. It is concluded that the practice of athletics for children, from the perspective of the educational guardian, has the most relevant reason, is that the actions are in accordance with the objectives of the family, and the reason of lesser importance is whether children will pursue a career in athletics. These indications contribute to a sports business model of athletics, according to the objectives of educational leaders, directing actions to the main client, generating the opportunity for greater adherence in athletics. |
| Description: | O presente estudo surge devido à baixa adesão ao atletismo nos escalões de formação entre 05 e 10 anos de idade. Tem-se como principal objetivo analisar o que determina a escolha do atletismo, entre os responsáveis educacionais das crianças, no Brasil, em Espanha e em Portugal. Pretende-se ainda comparar métodos de trabalho do clube de cada país e, por fim, indicar determinantes que colaborem, com modelos de negócio desportivo do atletismo. O estudo é exploratório, com o método de abordagem de pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa, tendo em vista as observações das aulas e da estrutura dos clubes, parte de uma análise qualitativa; e, na segunda etapa quantitativo, através da aplicação de questionários aplicados aos responsáveis das crianças. Foram utilizadas duas amostras na pesquisa, sendo a primeira amostra, escolhida por conveniência, composta por um clube em cada país, no Brasil, em Espanha e em Portugal. O instrumento utilizado para a análise dessa amostra, foi o diário de campo, através do procedimento de observações de aulas e estruturas de funcionamento do clube, que previamente foi estabelecido contato com os coordenadores das equipas, apresentado o projeto da pesquisa e posteriormente realizadas as observações, por fim, o tratamento e análise de dados foram divididas em pré-análise, exploração do material e tratamento dos resultados. A segunda amostra, foi formada pelos responsáveis educacionais das crianças entre 05 e 10 anos, dos clubes onde foi realizada as observações. Neste caso, foi respondido um questionário com vinte perguntas objetivas, por meio de uma escala tipo Likert 5- pontos, que avaliavam a importância de cada item, divididos em oito dimensões (Ambiente e clima de grupo, Fatores pessoais, Formação e supervisão da atividade, Família, Projeto educacional esportivo, Tempo e logística, Organização da prática desportiva e Saúde). Os resultados foram armazenados na plataforma do google forms e catalogados em excel. No tratamento e análise de dados foram realizadas, inicialmente das dimensões analisadas e em seguida em cada item, a comparações dos países através da análise estatística descritiva e comparativa dos dados, foi utilizado o programa IBM-SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Os responsáveis educacionais, assinalaram que a dimensão mais importante, é a aceitação, e a credibilidade que a família tem no atletismo, e o que menos importa, é se a criança tem potencial para ser um atleta ou se vai seguir uma carreira na modalidade. Conclui-se que, a prática do atletismo para as crianças, na perspectiva do encarregado educacional, tem o motivo mais relevante, é que as ações estejam de acordo, com os objetivos da família, e o motivo de menor importância, é se as crianças vão seguir uma carreira no atletismo. Essas indicações colaboram para um modelo de negócio desportivo do atletismo, de acordo com os objetivos dos responsáveis educacionais, direcionando as ações para o principal cliente, gerando a oportunidade de maior adesão no atletismo. |
