Relatório de Estágio Profissionalizante: Uma Época de Estágio nos Juniores C (sub-15) do Rio Ave Futebol Clube na época desportiva 2019/2020

Abstract

This internship report was carried out within the scope of the 2nd cycle of the master degree in High Perfomance Trainning, from the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. The internship was a very acquisitive process, both at professional and personal levels. The work developed is mostly related to the interest in understanding and deepening the knowledge on observation and analysis, and on the planning and execution of the training process, seeking to know how to intervene and influence its operation. This report comes as part of the internship held at Rio Ave Futebol Clube, more specifically in the Juniors C team, in the national championship of Initiates (season 2019/2020). It is divided into 3 fundamental parts. The first part focuses on the detailed presentation of the context of the internship, referring to all the functions and tasks, as well as characterizing the squad in a qualitative and quantitative way, their training process and their way of playing. The 2nd part refers to the development of Professional Practice, in which I expose the team's results, reflect on the course of the same in the championship and in the execution of the training process. Finally, the last major part of this report focuses on professional development, in which I explain what I have improved as a coach and as an observer, and how I made my observations, and with what focus. In a particular way, I also expose on themes inserted in this internship context.
