Experiências e práticas de ensino de uma estudante estagiária no mundo da educação física

Abstract

The present document describes the troubled journey of various adventures and experiences of a student intern, leaving her safe harbor and her comfort zone. She took off the role of student and put on the role of Student Intern, and, in the beginning, it was difficult to detach from her anchor. When she began her long journey, she felt some insecurity, some storms, but when, in this crossing of learning and professional development, she reached the other side of the shore (the end of the supervised teaching practice), she realized that it was exactly there that she should and wanted to be; to be a Physical Education Teacher. This report aims to describe the activities carried out and the experiences acquired during the professional internship carried out in the cooperating schools during the academic year 2023/2024. The included activities range from tasks related to teaching and assessment, participation in meetings, to the execution of specific tasks, always under the supervision of the cooperating teacher. This report is structured into five chapters: (1) "Introduction", where the objective of this report is presented; (2) "Personal Framework", where my life path is briefly mentioned, the experiences that helped me choose the teaching area of Physical Education, my initial expectations and the shock with reality; (3) "Organization and Management of Teaching and Learning" (area 1), where the role of the Physical Education teacher is framed, presenting the Professional Internship at the institutional level; (4) "Participation in the School and Relationship with the Community" (area 2) and "Professional Development" (area 3), this area addresses the research study on "The Perceptions of secondary school students about peer relationships, Teacher-Student relationship and their implications on students' social behavior." The last chapter, (5) "Conclusions and Future Perspectives", portrays a reflection on the experiences acquired and presents future perspectives.
