A entrada na profissão docente e a ansiedade do começo: Relato e Reflexão em contexto de Estágio Profissional

Abstract

This Report will present my professional practicum, which is a course unit in the second year of the Master's Degree in Physical Education Teaching in Primary and Secondary Education, at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. In line with the logic introduced in the previous year's Teaching Education, the pre-service teacher is remunerated and is responsible for two classes, in addition to participating in the tasks assigned to the Cooperating Teacher and related to the class they teach. This Report is divided into four chapters. The first refers to the "Implementation of Teaching Practice." In it, I address various aspects related to the legal and institutional aspects of the practicum, such as the description of the Cooperating School and its various stakeholders. Then, in the second chapter, "Organization of Teaching and Learning," I reflect on my professional practice, specifically on the planning, evaluation, and teaching projects I have developed. After this, in the third chapter, "Participation in School and Relationship with the Community," I discuss my participation in class management and various related activities at the school, specifically School Sports Activities and School Sports Games. Finally, in the fourth chapter, "Professional Development," I discuss all the activities and training courses I have developed, as well as the topic "The Influence of Emotional Intelligence on Conflict Management in Physical Education Teachers," through a literature review, as a means of reflection and improvement of my future performance.This report, entitled "Entering the teaching profession and initial anxiety: Report and Reflection in the context of Professional Internship," served to recall and reflect on everything that occurred during my intervention in a real-world context, contributing to personal and professional development
