| Title: | Discurso e Ideologia sobre o sujeito surdo: uma análise materialista de redações do ENEM |

| Abstract: | This article revolves around the objective of analyzing the representation of the Deaf in a privileged locus of enunciation: a set of eight (8) entrance exam essay evaluated with the highest score in the 2017 edition of the Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), whose proposed theme was "Challenges for the educational formation of the deaf in Brazil". To do so, we discuss the notions of discursive formation (DF) and statements within the theoretical framework of Materialist Discourse Analysis (AD), as proposed by the French philosopher M. Pêcheux. The analysis aims to examine the discursive construction of the deaf in a society where there is a constant ideological struggle between ableist discourses substantiated by the neoliberal system, on the one hand, and counter-hegemonic discourses, on the other. Based on our analysis, we reflect on the statements and DFs about the Brazilian deaf subject materialized in the texts of the candidates that make up the constructed corpus, elucidating the anchors of the identified FDs and the discourses related to the image of the Deaf in the social imaginary of Brazil. We draw attention to the symbolic and discursive constitution demarcated in this space of enunciation, aiming to contribute to the debate about Brazilian deaf communities and their social rights from a discursive perspective. |
| Description: | Este artigo se lapida em torno do objetivo de analisar a representação do sujeito surdo em um locus privilegiado de enunciação, a saber, um conjunto de oito (8) redações avaliadas com nota máxima na edição de 2017 do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), cujo tema proposto foi "Desafios para a formação educacional de surdos no Brasil". Para tanto, partimos, sobretudo, das noções de formação discursiva (FD) e de enunciado no quadro teórico da Análise do Discurso materialista (AD), tal como iniciada pelo filósofo francês M. Pêcheux, com vistas à análise da construção discursiva do surdo em uma sociedade na qual se percebe o constante embate ideológico entre discursos capacitistas substanciados pelo sistema neoliberal, de um lado, e discursos contra-hegemônicos, de outro. A partir de nossa análise, refletimos sobre os enunciados e as FDs a respeito do sujeito surdo brasileiro materializados nos textos de vestibulandos/ as que compõem o corpus construído, explicitando as ancoragens das FDs identificadas e os discursos atinentes à imagem do surdo no imaginário social do Brasil. Chamamos atenção, assim, à constituição simbólica e discursiva demarcada neste espaço de enunciação, de modo a contribuir para o debate acerca dos direitos sociais desses sujeitos em uma perspectiva discursiva. |
