Abstract

This school placement report is part of the Professional Practicum unit, which is part of the curricular plan for the second year of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Schools at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. The school placement was carried out in a secondary institution, located in Vila Nova de Gaia, in a 12th grade class, under the guidance of the cooperating teacher and the supervising teacher. This document encompasses a reflective and descriptive dimension, in which we seek to reflect on the training and professional path of the teacher in training throughout the school year, highlighting the pedagogical decisions related to the planning, implementation and evaluation of the teaching-learning process. It also includes a dimension in which the collaboration of the future teacher in the various activities promoted by the subject group and the school is presented, highlighting the involvement in dynamics that go beyond the classroom context. It is also made up of an investigative dimension, in which the research study is developed, which took place during the school year, focusing on the teaching of soccer. This study seeks to articulate the application of cooperative strategies with the use of reduced games, with the central objective of promoting the equal participation and inclusion of all students. To this end, the strategies adopted sought to optimize the use of available spaces and ensure the involvement of all students, regardless of their level of performance, in learning-oriented tasks. The report ends with final considerations, in which a reflective balance is drawn up on the experience gained during the School Placement.
