| Abstract: | In a brief and fleeting reflection on education, Eduardo Lourenço imagines the school as a «crystal house». In its fragility, as in its transparency, the school is a social mirror and a political-cultural project, whose foundations are under permanent shackling, to the point that they have incorporated this shackling into their very definition. This reflection aims to reconsider Eduardo Lourenço's writing through an educational lens, with the texts relating to the so-called «Brazilian time» serving as an impetus for what may be an implicit educational reverberation of his voice as a public intellectual. |
| Description: | Em breve e passageira reflexão que toma a educação por mote, Eduardo Lourenço aborda imageticamente a escola como «casa de cristal». Na sua fragilidade, como na sua translucidez, a escola é espelho social e projeto político-cultural, cujos alicerces vivem sob achaque permanente, ao ponto de terem incorporado esse abalo na sua própria definição. Esta reflexão pretende reconsiderar a escrita de Eduardo Lourenço a partir de uma lente educativa, com os textos relativos ao chamado «tempo brasileiro» a servirem de impulso ao que poderá ser uma implícita reverberação educativa da sua voz enquanto intelectual público. |
