Análise do impacto e visibilidade das revistas científicas da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto

Abstract

The study examines the journals of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Porto (FLUP), focusing on 28 active journals available through the Digithéke platform. Various factors, including periodicity, open access policies, peer review, and indexing, are systematised and analysed. An exploratory assessment of endogamy and internationalisation is also conducted. The findings are generally positive, with the journals showing strong editorial practices, a commitment to open access, and indexing in reputable databases. However, opportunities for improvement, particularly in relation to the availability and organisation of information about the journals, are identified
