| Abstract: | The present report, titled "From the Archipelago to the Educational Adventure: An Odyssey of Discovery and Growth," was prepared within the context of the professional school placement Curricular Unit of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. This document details the inspiring journey of a preservice teacher during the 2022/2023 school year at a cooperating school in Paranhos, Porto. The professional school placement aimed for gradual and guided integration of the student into professional life, promoting the construction of a teaching identity through deeply reflective pedagogical practices. Various innovative teaching methodologies were implemented, with a particular emphasis on motor learning and the active engagement of students in Physical Education classes. This report meticulously analyzes the impact of different teaching strategies on student performance. The approach reflects a commitment to pedagogical excellence, highlighting the importance of constant adaptation and critical reflection to achieve Physical Education goals that not only develops motor skills but also promotes students' personal and social growth. The document emphasizes a journey of overcoming challenges, innovation, and continuous growth, illustrating how the internship experience not only shaped a future teacher but also enriched the students' lives, encouraging them to adopt active and healthy lifestyles. |
| Description: | O presente relatório, intitulado "Do Arquipélago à Aventura Educacional: Uma Odisseia de Descoberta e Crescimento", foi elaborado no contexto da Unidade Curricular Estágio Profissional do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Física, nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário da Faculdade de Desporto da Universidade do Porto. Este documento, detalha a inspiradora trajetória de uma estudante-estagiária, durante o ano letivo de 2022/2023, numa escola cooperante em Paranhos, Porto. O estágio visou uma integração gradual e orientada da estudante na vida profissional, promovendo a construção da identidade docente, através de práticas pedagógicas profundamente reflexivas. Foram implementadas diversas metodologias de ensino inovadoras, com uma ênfase particular na aprendizagem motora e no envolvimento ativo dos alunos nas aulas de Educação Física. Este relatório analisa minuciosamente o impacto de diferentes estratégias de ensino no desempenho dos alunos. A abordagem reflete um compromisso com a excelência pedagógica, sublinhando a importância da adaptação constante do ensino e da reflexão crítica por parte do estudante-estagiário, para alcançar uma educação física, que não só desenvolva habilidades motoras, mas também promova o crescimento pessoal e social dos alunos. O documento realça a jornada de superação, inovação e crescimento contínuo, destacando como a experiência do estágio não só moldou uma futura professora, mas também enriqueceu a vida dos alunos, incentivando-os a adotar estilos de vida ativos e saudáveis. |
