Estágio profissional: a construção profissional e pessoal de um (futuro) professor de educação física

Abstract

The present report aims to conclude the second cycle of studies leading to a Master's degree in Physical Education Teaching in Primary and Secondary Education. The document holistically represents all the experiences and learning acquired during the Supervised Teaching Practice with 9th, 11th, and 12th- grade classes, covering various sports. Initially, it introduces the personal context of the student-teacher, discussing their journey from childhood to the desire to become a teacher, as well as the main challenges and achievements throughout the school placement. Next, the report details the institutional framework, focusing on the structure and dynamics of the Partner School, the role of various stakeholders in the school placement, and the interaction with different classes. Regarding the organization and management of teaching, the report explores the pedagogical practices adopted, from planning to the execution of classes, highlighting the customization of teaching and the implementation of innovative methodologies such as cooperative learning and peer teaching. The use of digital technologies and the inclusion of adapted sports are discussed as tools to enrich the pedagogical practice in Physical Education. The report also analyzes the student-teacher's participation in the school and the educational community, evaluating the activities carried out and their impact on their learning and professional development. The conclusion of the report focuses on the student- teacher's pedagogical intervention, reflecting on the effectiveness of the approaches adopted and their contributions to student development. The report emphasizes how the application of various teaching models in the student- teacher's pedagogical practice facilitated student learning, providing significant advancement in the teacher's pedagogical practice and adaptation to the needs of each context.
