Da Teoria à Prática: Uma experiência sobre Ensinar e Aprender

Abstract

The School placement is where we compare our experience and theoretical knowledge with teaching practice. It is part of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education, and allows the development of the intern student, providing them with essential tools for their teaching practice. The document is a mirror of what was the practice of a preservice teacher, recounting all the challenges, strategies and solutions that I used for my development as a teacher. I will explain, from a personal perspective, what made me fall in love with sport and the practice of physical activity in general and football in particular, transferring this passion to the choice of becoming a coach and physical education teacher. Initially, I will also explain what education and physical education in schools is and should be for me, as well as the role of teachers in the integral formation of human beings. In the 1st period, I will emphasize the difficulties and challenges that were presented to me in a completely new context, and the need to adapt to a wide group of students. It was in the 1st period that I began to understand the need to plan according to individualities and different levels of performance; in the 2nd period, I reinforce the need to individualize teaching and put students to work according to performance levels, also experiencing how I overcame my "Achilles heel", towards quality swimming teaching; In the 3rd period I will talk about the preparation for the end-of-year gymnastics soiree, the challenges, problems and constraints involved in preparing for this solemn moment. I will also present my study, on the "pedagogical feedback" given by me in volleyball classes. It will serve as a barometer regarding my intervention and will allow me to understand the quality of my "pedagogical feedback".
