Abstract

This document closes one of the most beautiful chapters of a trainee teacher, the Professional Internship. It is called Internship Report, containing all the experiences lived throughout the academic year, the challenges encountered, the strategies adopted, the mistakes made, and the learnings I take for my future as teacher. The supervised practice was extremely important to apply the knowledge acquired in the first year, as well as to develop others from the coupling of theory with practice. In this perennial cycle, Magnolia (i.e., the trainee student) was tested, fought against the various adversities of the environment where she grew up, but with them, she became more resilient and developed more flowers with diverse colors. To respond to these demands, Magnolia develops her roots (by carrying out tasks), integrates into the environment (context and school community), and adapts her growth form to what is provided to her (the reflection tools for developing critical thinking). Thus, with this report, I intend to portray the journey traveled, the richness of the soil where I cultivated my roots, and the impact it will have on the next perennial cycle. Thus, this report is organized into eight chapters that aim to present the strategies, teaching models, and styles used and their advantages and disadvantages, mainly in the gradual transfer of responsibility to the students. Likewise, it reflects the learning of concepts that develop students' critical thinking and allow them to work with a spirit of mutual help, autonomy, creativity, and always reflecting on their actions. It is also important that they, above all, understand the importance of the discipline as a central point to remain active upon leaving compulsory education. Finally, a study is conducted to understand the perception of the different teaching models applied throughout the year and the impact of these on the motivation, self-perception of competence, and autonomy of students in the teaching-learning process.
