Abstract

This report aims to describe the experiences during the Professional Internship. It stands as the last reflection about the reflection in action, as such, should be viewed as a critical analysis of the work developed and how it contributed to the acquisition of professional skills that are essential in the teaching profession. The Professional Internship was held at High School Clara de Resende along with three student interns. Monitoring and supervision was conducted by a teacher from the school, designated as Cooperating Teacher and a Faculty teacher known as the Internship Supervisor.The Internship Report is organized into six fundamental chapters. The first "Introduction" is done brief backgrounder on the Professional Internship and the purpose of the Internship Report. The second relates to the "Biographical Background" where I present my personal, academic, sportive, journey and my initial expectations towards the Professional Internship. The third chapter "Professional Practicum Framework" is based on the legal, institutional and Functional framework of the Professional Internship. The fourth chapter , "Realization of Professional Practice" encompasses the four dimensions of pedagogic intervention expected in Area 1 - Organization and Management of Teaching and Learning: Conception , Planning , Realization of Practice and Evaluation, which is attributed greater importance to realization of practice where I tried to list the difficulties encountered , the strategies that have been implemented and results obtained. The fifth chapter "Area 2 and 3 - Participation in School and Community Relations", reports to all the activities that I and other colleagues were involved in the school community. In the sixth chapter "Professional Development" I identify some "tools" that were crucial for the development of teaching skills. The last two chapters called "Final Conclusions" and "Expectations for the Future", it's where I do a summary of what was discoursed during the Internship Report and identify the advantages that retrieved from the Professional Internship and how I will apply them professionally.
