Estágio Profissional: Uma Viagem pela Primeira Experiência de Lecionação de um Estudante Estagiário de Educação Física na procura de atender a todos os Alunos

Abstract

This internship report was prepared to obtain the Master's degree in Physical Education for Basic and Secondary Education. This document aims to reveal everything that was experienced, what I learned, the mistakes I made, the challenges encountered and overcome, as well as the strategies along with the reflections made to improve my teaching learning process. It also presents a stu dy conducted in the context of Basketball. The professional internship, carried out at a Secondary School in the Aveiro district, had an internship team consisting of three student interns, supervised by a cooperating teacher from the school and guided by a teacher from the Faculty of Sports at the University of Porto. In the first part, I address topics related to the school, its function, what is inherent to it, as well as the capacity of physical education to contribute to meaningful learning. Associated with this theme, I also present the characteristics that a good teacher should possess. The context of action, more specifically, the human, material, and spatial conditions of the cooperating school where I carried out the internship are also described. The second chapter is dedicated to the presentation of the resident class and the shared class. In the third chapter, I describe the planning decisions, what was planned and why, as well as the intervention, more specifically, classroom management, the eva luation process, and reflection. I present the strategies and resources used in instruction, using audiovisual means, optimizing physical activity time to improve the teaching learning process, and how to address the difficulties encountered. In the last p art of this chapter, I also discuss the short experience in School Sports, as well as teaching the three 1st grade classes. The fourth chapter presents the study conducted to promote improvements in terms of participation and inclusion of all students in B asketball, using the Teaching Games for Understanding teaching model and the Sports Education Model, achieving fun, engaged, and occupied students. In the study, differences between the diagnostic assessment class and the final assessment class were compar ed after applying different game situations. Through the analysis of the results, it was possible to verify improvements in all students, achieving the main objectives proposed. Finally, there is a retrospective of the entire internship year, as well as al l the topics covered. KEYWORDS:
