Estágio Profissional: A experiência sensorial de uma estudante estagiária em busca do sonho

Abstract

This document, entitled Professional Internship: The sensorial experience of an intern student searching for her dream, reports, in firsthand, what was the Professional Internship inserted in the Master's Degree in Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education of the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. The Professional Internship represents the final stage for any intern student who is previously confronted with various didactic-pedagogical knowledge, during the first year of the Master's. In the second year, interns perform the Supervised Teaching Practice in a Cooperating School, with the help of a Cooperating Teacher and a Mentor Teacher. The Internship that is reported here took part at Ermesinde Secondary School, in an Internship Nucleus made up of two students. This document portrays all the experiences and emotions undergone over the course of a school year, where, in a real teaching context, the didactic-methodological, social, and cognitive skills of the trainee teacher are put to the test in their interaction with the Resident Class and the Shared Class. The journey is divided into six distinct chapters, which include the initial expectations, biographical characterization and all the pedagogical practice involved, namely its planning, reflections, research, and problems associated with all these areas during the two semesters that divided the academic year. The entire Report unfolds through a sensory theme, where the Heart is accompanied by Vision, Hearing, Touch, Smell and Taste which, at a certain point in the Internship, prove to be essential in achieving the paramount objective: the construction of the best possible teaching-learning process. The problem of Interpersonal Relationship of these young people is also highlighted, with different strategies to be applied, so that these teenagers could evolve not only the motor component, but also at a cognitive and psychosocial level
