| Abstract: | When the Internet went to the newsrooms, journalism started to face a big challenge. Although that started in Portugal in 1995, we do not know that much about what happened in regional press newsrooms. When? and How? are some questions that we don't know how to answer yet. The aim of this study is to do so. The first moments of the transition were found in 1996 and since then has been an underutilization of the potential of the Internet by proximity journalism. |
| Description: | Quando a Internet chegou às redações, o jornalismo começou a enfrentar um grande desafio. Embora isso tenha começado em Portugal em 1995, ainda não sabemos muito sobre o que aconteceu nas redações da imprensa regional. Quando? e Como? são algumas perguntas que ainda não sabemos responder. É precisamente esse o objetivo deste estudo. Os primeiros momentos da transição foram encontrados em 1996 e desde então tem havido um subaproveitamento das potencialidades da Internet por parte do jornalismo de proximidade. |
