Espaço e Narrativa

Abstract

Mobility marks places and non-places in which we flow. Spaces walk side by side with the pace set by our body and let images that ignite the imagination loose. These images, fluid and ephemeral, have a strong poetic charge, when embraced by our intimacy. The poetic imagery captured by the subject on space and architecture are preserved and disseminated by literature. Through this art, images can gain more clarity. Literature has the power to produce fleeting images and sharpen the memory of readers, necessary to construct a narrative. The contemporary world is essentially associated with individual narratives, since a individual growing sets the restructuration of urban places and the landscape. This new approach to space requires a repositioning of the boundaries between the public / private, exterior / interior. We assume that the relationship between man and land has been deteriorated and his link with the place has been diluted. The emergent man keeps away from reality. Yet it is precisely this displacement that allows him to enhance a literary and crossing look, a traveler look that seeks to hold on the new, the strange and the unique. "To see what we haven3;t seen, to fix the image of things, customs, new situations, we need to invent, if not new words [...] at least one new use of words, a new arrangement of words and phrases."
